boots, also called stress relief boots.
This unique design improves the
OEM-Endoscope in form and function. Our one piece stress boot construction will
not leave you with “ blistered, cracked and discolored” surface appearance, even
after many sterilization cycles. Stress relief boots have been “patched” with
epoxy and silicone in the past. To avoid repair quality that does not meet
Hospital and Patient expectations, choose from our large inventory of more than
20 different sizes of first class stress boots. All our stress boots are Steris
tested. These stress relief boots can also be purchased in extended model
versions to cover buckled and kinked Insertion tubes. No more need for boot
extenders.
IEC Stress Boots are not just constructed with a thin layer of rubber-polymer material that is glued over the under construction. IEC stress boots are injection molded as a solid unit without bubbling or discoloring after sterilization.
Our most innovative stress boot is the PCF/CF-160AL type that features a modified adapter to seal the stress boot directly to the Endoscope housing, eliminating the unsightly OEM cover ring.
