Insertion Tube & Universal Cords Information

In 2003 we released our Universal cords after we ran a successful Steris® testing program. Thanks to the overwhelming positive feedback we continued in 2004 with the sale of our Insertion tubes.

Many Insertion tubes released in the past 10 years left Independent Repair Companies with disappointing results and liability issues that explain why many of you are still hesitant to try a new product.

These are some of the Reasons why you should use IEC Insertion tubes :

  1. NO clear coat is used on the outside, but the shine is like the OEM product.
  2. The black coating was developed by DOW Chemical® and has undergone bio-compatibility testing in accordance with US Pharma XXII class VI guidelines.
  3. The white ink/epoxy material was developed/formulated in Japan.
  4. The mesh and coils are manufactured out of German stainless steel on German precision machines.
  5. Our tubes DO NOT “stretch” like some competitor products.
  6. Olympus® and Pentax® compatible tubes are manufactured according to their double/single coil construction.
  7. Both ends are tinned and neutralized from any acidic residue using an ultrasound cleaning process to ensure absolute cleanliness and provide a quick and easy assembly.
  8. The 160’ AL models incorporate the same soft front portion area like the OEM.
  9. Different Rigidity is well applied to different sections of the tube to match the OEM product.
  10. We are continuing to develop more sizes and models to provide the most complete program.
